FAQs
-
The reason we facilitate access to EU prescribers is because although we had UK doctors that were interested in working with us, they were advised by their professional bodies that because we support under 18s that they may be challenged, even if they did not work with those patients themselves.
The UK provision of trans healthcare for all ages is broken. We could have secured UK clinicians if we had only worked with those of 18 and over, however we felt that this would leave the most vulnerable without support, which we were not prepared to do.
-
Intake blood tests are included in the first year membership. If your GP will not do blood tests for your child after that, we can facilitate this via our partner Nationwide Pathology., who have clinics all over the UK.
-
We can share the notes and recommendations including prescriptions with your GP, with your permission. Our system allows us to email them as part of the process, if that is required.
-
The qualified endocrinologist will advise on which medical pathway they think is right for you.
They have over 20 years of experience in this field, and their knowledge is invaluable in supporting your transition. They will not prescribe 'to order'; however, they will listen to your concerns and consider any particular wishes or concerns you may have.

Yes Anne is a tele health service. The only exception to this is if you use our blood test partner service - Nationwide Pathology - when you can visit one of their UK locations to have blood drawn.
