When we founded Anne Health, we made a simple promise: everyone who comes to us should receive the same quality of care we would want for someone we love. That promise hasn’t changed.

We had to fight for our loved ones to access the care they so desperately needed, and we’ll continue to fight for you.

From the very beginning, we were clear that we would not leave young people behind. We knew that providing care for under-18s would make Anne Health a target, but it was a commitment we were never willing to compromise on.

As the environment for trans healthcare in the UK has become increasingly hostile, that commitment has become harder to protect.

We’ve been watching the UK’s political and regulatory landscape with growing concern. Rollbacks of trans+ rights, the blocker ban, restrictions on access to gender-affirming hormones for under-18s, increasing scrutiny of care for 18 to 25 year olds. And, most recently, the appalling treatment of the young people and families accessing care through WellBN. All of these developments point in the same direction.

These decisions are often presented as being in the interests of “care”, but those of us who have experienced this system first-hand know the reality is very different. Our patients deserve better than that.

Rather than stepping away from the people who need us, we’ve chosen to change how Anne Health is structured so we can continue providing the care we believe in.

What’s changing

To protect the long-term future of Anne Health, patient subscriptions and data is moving to a new entity based in Estonia, operating under the Anne Health name.

This structural change allows us to continue doing what we have always done: putting our patients first and protecting the service you rely on from the uncertainty of the current UK environment.

What this means for you

The care you receive from Anne Health isn’t changing.

You’ll continue to see the same team, same clinicians, use the same patient portal, and access the same services. Your membership and monthly fee will also remain the same.

The only changes you’ll notice over the coming weeks are a few administrative updates while we complete this transition.

If there’s anything we need you to do, we’ll contact you directly in the coming weeks.

Our commitment to you

Throughout this transition, our priorities remain exactly as they have always been: keeping our patients safe, protecting your data, and ensuring our team can continue providing the care and support you depend on.

Those things are not changing. They remain at the heart of everything we do.

Thanks,

Lizzie and Susie

Frequently Asked Questions

  • It won’t. You’ll continue to speak to the same team, see the same clinicians, use the same patient portal, and access the same services. Your membership and monthly fee will also remain the same.

The changes we’re making are designed to protect the care we provide, not change it.

  • Because the environment for trans+ healthcare in the UK is becoming increasingly difficult, not easier.

Rollbacks of trans+ rights, the blocker ban, restrictions on access to gender-affirming hormones for under-18s, and increasing scrutiny of care for young adults all point in the same direction.

We’re not willing to wait until acting becomes impossible. Making this change now, from a position of stability, means we can protect your care properly rather than scrambling to react later.

  • We’re not.

We’re still Anne Health, and we’ll remain Anne Health. From 1 July 2026, Anne Health will operate as a trading name of Enna Limited OÜ, registered in Estonia (Company No. 17512388).

The legal entity behind your membership is changing, but the name, the people, and the care you receive are staying the same.

  • The UK has become an increasingly difficult and uncertain environment in which to provide trans healthcare.

Rather than wait for future changes to affect the service our patients depend on, we’ve chosen to move the organisation responsible for memberships and patient data to a more stable legal environment. This allows us to continue providing care while reducing the risk posed by future changes in UK policy.

  • We’re making this change to help protect our patients, their data, and the care we provide.

Estonia has strong data protection laws and a stable legal environment. By moving the organisation responsible for memberships and patient data, we’re helping to ensure that Anne Health can continue providing the same care and support while reducing the risk posed by future changes in the UK.

  • Like the UK, Estonia’s record on LGBTQIA+ rights, and specifically trans+ rights, is mixed and continues to evolve.

In ILGA-Europe’s 2026 Rainbow Map, which ranks 49 European countries on their legal and policy protections for LGBTQIA+ people, Estonia ranked 21st with a score of 46%, slightly ahead of the UK, which ranked 22nd with a score of 44%.

However, our decision to move the organisation responsible for memberships and patient data to Estonia was not based on Estonia’s position on trans rights. It was based on the country’s stable legal environment, strong data protection framework, and its ability to support Anne Health in continuing to provide the care and support our patients rely on.

Our commitment to trans healthcare, including care for young people, remains exactly the same regardless of where Anne Health is registered.

  • Yes, our commitment to providing free and subsidised care to those who cannot otherwise afford it remains the same.

We will continue to support the patients we currently fund or subsidise, and we remain committed to reducing financial barriers to care wherever possible.

Although our legal structure is changing, our values and mission are not. Any surplus generated by Anne Health will continue to be reinvested into our work and the communities we support.

  • No. This change is about protecting the future of Anne Health, not increasing profits.

We’re doing everything we can to minimise any financial impact on our members and avoid introducing new or unnecessary costs. Our priority is ensuring that our patients can continue accessing the care they rely on.

As always, if there are any future changes to pricing, they will be communicated openly and transparently.

  • No. Your personal data will continue to be stored in the same secure third-party systems and server locations that Anne Health already uses. The systems themselves are not changing.

The only change is the legal entity responsible for those systems.

  • Yes. Protecting patient privacy and confidentiality remains one of our highest priorities. Your personal data will continue to be protected by the same technical, organisational and legal safeguards that apply today.

If you have any questions about how your data is stored or processed, please refer to our updated Privacy Policy or contact our team.

  • No. If there’s anything we need you to do, we’ll contact you directly in the coming weeks.
