What documents are required to apply for free funding?

Before starting your application, please ensure you have the following ready:

• Proof of receipt of a means-tested benefit (e.g. Universal Credit award notice or other benefits statements dated within the last 3 months)
• Photo ID and proof of address

Please note that bank statements, credit card bills, and utility bills are not accepted as evidence of financial need.

If your ID is in a previous name, you will need a proof of name change (e.g. a deed poll document)

For parents or carers applying on behalf of someone under 18, you will need a child benefit statement dated within the last 3 months.

Applications that do not include all required documentation cannot be considered.
