Can you provide a diagnosis of gender dysphoria?

I’m afraid we’re unable to provide a formal diagnosis of gender dysphoria. That has to come from a qualified psychiatrist, clinical psychologist, or NHS gender specialist, and it’s separate from the letters, documentation, and clinical support that come with your Anne Health membership.

Because we work on an informed consent model, you don’t need a formal diagnosis of gender dysphoria to start treatment with us.

We can write a letter confirming that you meet the criteria for a diagnosis, but to be clear, that letter isn’t a diagnosis in itself. It cannot be used for a Gender Recognition Certificate or other legal purposes. For those services, we suggest reaching out to GenderPlus, who can help.
