Membership involves an initial one-off application fee of £200 plus a monthly membership subscription of £50 per month for 12 months.

Membership fees include all services listed above.

Note: For the 24 month Membership, we will need a full health check blood test, including hormone levels, to start working on your care package. If you cannot obtain this via your GP or another lab, we can facilitate this at our partner lab. The type of test required will depend upon your circumstances, so please ask, and we can give you pricing.

To get started, we will need confirmation of your medical pathway over the previous 24 months. You can upload this during the medical intake questionnaire stage.

Passport gender marker support

We will provide the required letter to support your application to the UK Passport Office to change the gender marker on your UK Passport.

FAQs

  • The reason we facilitate access to EU prescribers is because although we had UK doctors that were interested in working with us, they were advised by their professional bodies that because we support under 18s that they may be challenged, even if they did not work with those patients themselves.

The UK provision of trans healthcare for all ages is broken. We could have secured UK clinicians if we had only worked with those of 18 and over, however we felt that this would leave the most vulnerable without support, which we were not prepared to do.

  • Intake blood tests are included in the first year membership. If your GP will not do blood tests for your child after that, we can facilitate this via our partner Nationwide Pathology., who have clinics all over the UK.

  • We can share the notes and recommendations including prescriptions with your GP, with your permission. Our system allows us to email them as part of the process, if that is required.

  • Our intake process is mandatory for everyone to satisfy our need to establish competency and understanding of the risks and benefits, regardless of their previous pathway.

However, we try to minimise this for people transferring from another provider.

For people who are transferring from another provider we just require an intake session meeting, and this should be all that is needed barring any concerns.

We then usually catch-up at 4, 8 and 12 months with a member of the therapeutic team. This is not talking therapy; it is more of a check-in to make sure you're ok.

  • The qualified endocrinologist will advise on which medical pathway they think is right for you.

They have over 20 years of experience in this field, and their knowledge is invaluable in supporting your transition. They will not prescribe 'to order'; however, they will listen to your concerns and consider any particular wishes or concerns you may have.

  • Yes Anne is a tele health service. The only exception to this is if you use our blood test partner service - Nationwide Pathology - when you can visit one of their UK locations to have blood drawn.
