Do you require social transition before prescribing HRT?

Social transition is not a prerequisite for being supported with gender-affirming hormone therapy as we work on an informed consent model. Each individual person’s circumstances are always a consideration, and we strive to help all our patients manage their unique transition and exploration of gender.
