Applications are now closed

We’re sorry, we’ve now reached the maximum number of applications we’re able to accept for this round of subsidised gender-affirming care.

Due to very high demand and limited funding, the application form is now closed. We’re unable to accept any further applications at this time.

Future funding opportunities

We recognise that the need for subsidised gender-affirming care exceeds what we can currently meet.

If you’re unable to apply this time, or if your application is unsuccessful, please know that we remain committed to expanding access to care and continue to seek additional funding.

The next round of funding will be released in February 2026. Updates will be shared on this page, and through our social media channels.

  • No, I’m afraid not. Funding is specifically reserved for people who have not previously accessed gender-affirming care through Anne, the NHS, or any private provider in the last 12 months.

We understand this may be disappointing and appreciate your understanding as we prioritise those with the greatest financial need.

  • Yes. Your funded membership can continue for as long as you need care with Anne, provided you remain eligible for subsidised support.

We review eligibility once a year and will ask you to provide updated proof of benefits and income to help ensure this limited funding continues to reach those who need it most.

If your financial circumstances change and you’re able to afford care independently, we’ll support you to transition off funded support so it can be offered to someone else.

  • Yes. To make sure this limited funding continues to support those who need it most, we review eligibility once a year.

As part of this review, we’ll ask you to provide updated proof of benefits and income. If your financial circumstances change and you’re able to afford care independently, we’ll support you to transition off funded support so that this funding can be offered to someone else who needs it.

  • We recognise that demand for funded gender-affirming care exceeds our current capacity. If you are unsuccessful in this round, this does not reflect your need or the validity of your application.

If you are not selected this time:

    • You are welcome to apply again in the next funding round opening in February
    • Our team can signpost other potential routes to accessing care

We remain committed to expanding access and continue to seek additional funding as part of our core mission as a not-for-profit.

  • No. Subsidised funding can only be used to cover gender-affirming care provided directly by Anne through a funded membership. It cannot be transferred, refunded, or used to pay for care, assessments, prescriptions, or services with any other provider.

Please read our full Terms and Conditions before applying for subsidised care.

    • Unsuccessful application

If your application is unsuccessful this time:

    • You are welcome to apply again in the next funding round opening in February

  • Spaces are very limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis to applicants who:

    • Meet all eligibility criteria
    • Provide the required photo ID and financial documents to accompany their application
    • Submit a complete application form within the time frame

All eligible applications are reviewed to ensure funding is directed to those experiencing the greatest financial barriers to care. Eligibility for full or partial funding is assessed using the income information provided.

We understand that most people apply in good faith. However, because demand for funding is high, applications go through a screening process to help prioritise those facing the greatest financial barriers. This includes reviewing evidence of income and receipt of means-tested benefits.

Applications are reviewed by a panel of trans and trans-adjacent members of the Anne team. As part of the process, successful applicants will also have an appointment with a member of our therapeutic team to confirm their capacity to consent before starting care.

For privacy and confidentiality reasons, we do not share the personal details of successful applicants. Funded members may choose to provide a short, optional statement confirming their success, which helps us demonstrate that funds are used as intended.
