Founded in 2024 by Lizzie Jordan and Susie Green, Anne Health was created to ensure everyone, no matter their age, has access to compassionate, expert care aligned with international best practices.
As a not-for-profit, Anne Health reinvests directly into the trans+ community. This ensures services remain accessible, inclusive, and designed to support as many individuals as possible. Whether it’s through essential healthcare, advocacy, or creating systemic change, Anne Health is committed to transforming lives and uplifting the trans+ community.
Self-medicating harm reduction service
If you’re self-medicating gender-affirming hormone therapy, finding clinical support can feel challenging. Supply issues, private care costs, waiting lists, or lack of NHS support may lead to self-medicating—and that’s where the Self-Medicating Harm Reduction Service comes in.
This service is designed to help you make informed, safer decisions about your health. It offers an IV blood test followed by a consultation with a qualified clinician to discuss your goals and the best ways to achieve them.
After your appointment, a detailed email report summarizes the findings and expert advice tailored to you. This judgment-free service prioritises your well-being, giving you peace of mind and the support you deserve.
Subsidised care for those most in need
Gender-affirming care saves lives. It improves mental health, reduces distress, and empowers trans+ people to live authentically. Yet for many, barriers like long NHS waitlists, high private care costs, and the risks of self-medicating can feel overwhelming.
Subsidised care ensures that financial hardship doesn’t stand in the way of accessing life-changing healthcare. Anne Health is developing subsidised membership services that will offer expert healthcare consultations, access to prescriptions for gender-affirming medication, and ongoing medical oversight at reduced costs.
Every trans and non-binary person deserves healthcare that allows them to thrive—without fear or uncertainty about affordability.
